Moon shot with NIKON D200 Digital SLR camera using NIKKOR 300MM lens. Following camera settings were used:

The camera was mounted on the tripod stand and set to auto timer. (clicking manually significantly blurs the image due to shaking)

manual mode:
RAW fine picture mode.
matrix  metering
shutter speed of 1/320
ISO at 100
aperture f9
exposure of -5 (or least available)
picture quality -'vivid' or 'more vivid' Set white balance to 'auto'
other features: high tone and high sharpness
saturation option: enhanced
